I have known Matt and Kaylee for awhile now, and was blessed to capture their love. The couple wanted a classic look to their photographs, and Matt and Kaylee gave great creative energy for this session. I look forward to photographing their wedding later this year. TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY: A HINT OF VIETNAM

My wife and I were blessed to travel to Vietnam recently. It was amazing to be able to show my wife a bit of my Vietnamese heritage and to explore a portion of this beautiful country. The majority of our time was spent in Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Da Nang and Hoi An. We met some amazing people, including other travelers from all over the world, and shared in their experiences and stories. Vietnam is full of history from the many wars which we learned from their museums and the french influence from the french occupation in their architecture, food, and language. We had many memorable experiences from eating a traditional Vietnamese New Years meal with our family to surfing in Da Nang. Everything from the savory foods, exotic fruits, the colorful markets, the unique scents from the street life, made for an unforgettable journey.

Cody and Andrea’s wedding was a beautiful winter wedding, featuring white painted trees and wintery decor at the Pickering Barn in Issaquah. The red accent colors were not only seen in the flowers, but made outdoor winter photographing in Seattle weather fun with red rain boots and an umbrella. It was a beautiful wedding, full of joyful celebration. Congratulations to you both and enjoy the images!

I get the privilege of capturing Tim & Elizabeth’s engagements and wedding this coming summer. They are such a fun couple and had some great ideas for their engagement session. They wanted a 1940′s themed session mixed with a Seattle urban flair and so we chose pioneer square for its beautiful architecture and red brick buildings. We had great creative energy that I think really made for some memorable classic images. This was such an incredible session and I am looking forward to their wedding this summer. Enjoy!

Even on a rainy day, Josh and Gazalle’s love for one another shone through. The wedding took place at the Marysville Opera House. What an enjoyable day, with both beautiful details and traditional elements, including a ceremony that held a beautiful unique element from Gazalle’s Iranian heritage. John and Heather were married in Ballard at the Chittenden Locks. The location was beautiful right on the water, and the wedding incorporated colorful umbrellas, and flowers. The girls pulled out their silly side with mustaches, while the guys brought out their “bling.” It was both a fun and memorable wedding day. Congratulations to you both!

TERRY+DEANNA: WEDDING SESSION PREVIEW

Terry and Deanna wanted to take some pre-wedding photographs downtown Seattle at Post Alley and Pike Place. Even with the stormy weather, the rain added drama in the photos. The couple then displayed their fun side in their love the Los Angeles Lakers with their outfit change. Despite the weather we got creative and got some unique and beautiful photographs. Enjoy!

Chris and Allison’s beautiful wedding took place at the Mountain Springs Lodge, just outside of Leavenworth, WA. Not only were the couple fantastic to work with, but the location featured rustic wood cabins, antler chandeliers, and a beautiful background of trees and mountains where they had their ceremony. It was a blessing to us to be able to capture this wedding. What a wonderfully unique and marvelous day!
